Tiga didakwa lakukan vandalisme terhadap harta benda awam

Tiga lelaki mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Majistret di sini hari ini, atas tuduhan merosakkan harta benda awam dengan contengan grafiti pada dinding, tiga hari lalu. Wartawan, Sidiqin Omar, 30, pelukis grafik Mohd Fiqtriey al Haqimiey Abdul Rani@ Abdul Ghani, 27, dan ahli muzik Ahmad Husni Mohd Ali, 28, didakwa melakukan semburan cat menulis perkataan ‘T.T.R 901 Turun Tibai Rosmah’ pada dinding di hadapan Stesen KTM Komuter Angkasapuri di Pantai Dalam, Brickfields, pada jam 6.10 pagi, 7 Jan lalu.

Mereka didakwa mengikut Seksyen 15 (2) Akta Kesalahan-Kesalahan Kecil yang dibaca bersama Seksyen 34 Kanun Keseksaan yang membawa hukuman penjara maksimum setahun atau denda RM1,000 atau kedua-duanya sekali jika sabit kesalahan.

Terdahulu, Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Siti Hajar Alias memohon mahkamah menetapkan ikat jamin RM3,000 dengan seorang penjamin bagi setiap tertuduh, namun peguam Mohd Radzlan Jalaluddin yang mewakili ketiga-tiga mereka meminta jumlah itu dikurangkan kepada RM500. Majistret Zaki Asyraf Zubir menetapkan ikat jamin RM2,000 dengan seorang penjamin bagi setiap tertuduh dan memerintahkan ketiga-tiga mereka melapor diri di balai polis sebulan sekali. Mahkamah juga menetapkan 8 Februari ini untuk sebutan kes. Kesemua tertuduh membayar ikat jamin.
